AKRIBOS Quality, Microbiology & Sterilization LLC was founded in 2025 by Robert Bradley after a 20 plus year career in the medical device industry. AKRIBOS-QMS was born out of a passion for reducing risk to patients through stringent control of microbial processes, optimizing sterilization cycle performance and implementing best in class quality practices.
Robert Bradley is a sterilization expert with over 20 years of experience in operations and quality within the medical device industry. With a strong foundation in microbiology and quality management systems, he provides independent analysis of microbiologically based manufacturing processes and a broad spectrum of sterilization methods.
His expertise includes traditional modalities such as ethylene oxide, dry heat, steam, and hydrogen peroxide, as well as novel approaches like nitrogen dioxide (NO₂) and chlorine dioxide (ClO₂). He is also highly experienced in high-level decontamination using vaporized hydrogen peroxide.
Robert is a trusted resource for investigating sterilization failures and ensuring compliance with industry standards. He is a recognized subject matter expert in the selection, qualification, and interpretation of biological and chemical indicators.
He has contributed to several AAMI sterilization standard committees, including ISO-11135, ISO-11138, ISO-11140, and ISO-18472. Robert holds both a Master of Science degree in Biology from the University of Nebraska-Omaha and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Midland Lutheran College. He is certified as a Six Sigma Green Belt and Lean Bronze professional and has published work with the Parenteral Drug Association.
